Today we extend a warm welcome to Rev. Ken Meeks.  Rev. Meeks grew up in a small town in Alabama on a 350 acre farm. After high school he attended The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina. Following graduation in 1973, he received a call to the Amite-Arcola Presbyterian Church in Amite, Louisiana. In 1977, he received a call to serve Bethpage Presbyterian Church in Kannapolis, North Carolina. He is retired from  Northeast Georgia Presbytery and lives in Greensboro, NC, where he hopes to be involved in developing community gardens for senior communities and churches and to be available for pulpit supply and spiritual direction.
