SOUP KITCHEN –  As we heard from our Soup Kitchen Team interview, certain items are always in demand:  paper plates, napkins, paper towels, dry pastas, and dry beans/soup mixes.  Donations of these items will be collected through today and given to our local Soup Kitchen.  Thanks to those who have shared items with us!

PENNIES FOR HUNGER will be received August 5.

REFRESH AUGUST 12 – Remember that we will have our last 2nd Sunday of the Summer worship that focuses on trying some new or different things.  We have been listening to your feedback and Session affirms the significance of experiencing weekly communion for many among us and our expression of sacramental theology at the heart of the congregation’s mission statement.  So a celebration of the Lord’s table or Communion will be celebrated as a part of 11am worship on August 12. It will present a slight variation on our current pattern, just as we have varied musical and verbal elements of the other Refresh Worship offerings. We have also heard the delight expressed by many over a greater variety of music. Please continue to reach out and be in conversation with the Elders currently serving on Session and Pastor Christy.

OUR PASTOR NOMINATING COMMITTEE (PNC) is actively reviewing information packets of ministerial candidates at this time.  Lift up our PNC members and the candidates under review in prayers for God’s guidance.
